The License to Carry class includes the state required classroom
instructional portion and range qualification.
- Cost: $79.00 for the LTC Class, if you do not have a handgun and need to rent one there will be an additional gun rental fee ($10.00) and the ammunition used in the gun must be purchased from Big Kountry!
- The class requirements are: 4 hours of instruction, a shooting proficiency qualification and a written test.
- The Shooting Proficiency requirements are: 50 shots total – 20 at 3 yards, 20 at 7 yards and 10 at 15 yards. A perfect score is 250 and a minimum of 175 (or 70%) is required to qualify.
- You must have a valid ID.
